We continue our Top 5 Series every week
5. The 2006 Miami Heat
Shaq was still formidable, Zo provided some nasty off the bench, and Dwyane Wade dragged his team to greatness with one of the most incredible individual series the game has ever seen, averaging 34.7 points on 47 percent shooting during the NBA Finals against Dallas.
4. The 2003 Florida Marlins
There were so many memorable moments from this season — the Bartman Game, the lights going out at Yankee Stadium, D-Train’s one-hitter, Conine-to-Pudge at home plate.
This was a special team destined to win it all.
3. The 2013 Miami Heat
Last year’s NBA Champions didn’t blow through the pack, but they brought home the metal in emotional fashion.
This year’s team — if they win it all — will go down as the best team in Heat history and should be up there among the best the Association has ever seen.
2. The 2001 Miami Hurricanes
Probably the most dynamic team in college football history. They clubbed Nebraska in the National Championship game 37-14.
17 players from this roster would go on to become first-round picks. SEVENTEEN!
1. The 1972 Miami Dolphins
To this day, the only team in NFL history to achieve perfection.
